The SAMPLEX™ Fast-Loop Sampling Systems are designed to achieve higher accuracy and lower uncertainty when obtaining representative samples. A Fast-Loop sampling system provides high-precision sampling across a wide range of fluids, delivering lower measurement uncertainty and higher accuracy compared to an in-line sampling system.


Each SAMPLEX™ Fast-Loop Sampling System includes a 1” or 2” recirculation loop that pumps the product in parallel with the main pipeline. The loop size is selected during the engineering design stage to maximize sample representativeness and ensure sufficient velocity to maintain a homogeneous sample throughout the automatic sampling system.


The SAMPLEX™ Fast-Loop Sampling Systems can be designed for process pipelines ranging from 4” to 52” and can be installed on the pipeline using fixed nozzles or retractable probes for hot-tap installations. The main components of the SAMPLEX™ Fast-Loop Sampling System are mounted inside an enclosure available in different construction materials, with bypass facilities that allow easy isolation and maintenance of the equipment without stopping product recirculation through the loop.


The enclosure can be heated if required and can include multiple sample receivers with automatic or manual switching capabilities.


The system also includes a SAMPLEX™ WS20 weighing system for sample receivers, which continuously monitors the sampling system performance. The sample receivers are portable and can be transported to the laboratory, where they can be properly mixed again using an appropriate mixing system before sample analysis.


The system receives a signal from a flow meter to regulate the sampling process proportionally to the process flow rate.


All sampling systems are designed according to international sampling standards and are manufactured and integrated in compliance with local regulations.


The sampling system is designed as specified in ISO 3171 / ASTM D4177. It is integrated with a sampling controller that uses flow signals to regulate sample collection proportionally to the flow rate in the sampling system.
